该设备需要用手举着贴近人的脸部,然后360度转动观看
拥有2.5K的分辨率
120度的视野
配备有两个5.5英寸的显示器
每个显示器的分辨率为2560 x1440
看起来比较沉的设备,但是演示下来,持续了大概5分钟,不怎么感觉累。
显示效果令人印象深刻,追踪效果也很好,没发现有可见盲点。
佳能表示设计只是初步的,成品最终才会成为真正的头显。
像一个教育辅助设备,它是坚固的,而且容易操作,最处是不用戴上就能使用,只需要贴近脸部。
Canon's MREAL System for Mixed Reality.When did Canon start developing this MR System?
Yasuda: Development of MR technology began in 1997 with the joint establishment of the Mixed Reality Systems Laboratory with the Japan Key Technology Center of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).
Was it your goal from the start to apply MR to manufacturing?
Ryoji Kondo: We decided to apply this technology in the industrial field, including manufacturing from the beginning. By around 2007, car manufacturers were using system prototypes and providing us with feedback.
It was in 2007 that, technologically speaking, we created a prototype of the current MREAL, with an HMD employing a free-form prism, alignment technology using markers, and external sensors.
